Due out this winter, Football Manager 2012 will apparently boast over 800 new features. Key alterations include a revamped transfer and contract system, including better implementation of amateur and youth contracts, and the arrival of loyalty bonuses (you won’t need to pay many of those in the Premiership).

“We’re constantly watching the whole of the football world, and dealing with people inside football, to find out out what’s changing,” says Sports Interactive MD, Miles Jacobson. “One thing people may notice from the screenshots is that the signing on fee isn’t there anymore – it’s been replaced by a loyalty bonus. It’s fortuitous this has happened just as the news broke that Febregas was going to be paying back Arsenal some of his signing on fee for the next few years, because they paid him a loyalty bonus upfront. The featureset for this game was nailed down in December, but sometimes we go along at the pace of the real-life sport. Life sometimes imitates art!

Features:
* Transfers & Contracts – significant changes to the transfer and contract systems, including loyalty bonuses, better implementation of amateur and youth contracts, an improved transfer centre and the ability to lock areas of the contract negotiation when you aren’t prepared to budge. This helps you to manage your budgets and gives you flexibility in what you offer money hungry players, or agents, as incentives.
* Scouting improvements – using several real life scouting reports, a new in-game report has been devised which includes squad analysis, tactics information and information about goals scored and conceded alongside lots of other scouting improvements, giving you all the information you need to prepare before kick-off and throughout the season.
* 3D Match Improvements – new animations, a whole new crowd system, improved weather system, more stadiums, plus two brand new cameras – “Behind Goal” and “Director Cam” as well as all other camera angles being reversible – meaning you can watch and analyse every aspect of every game.
* Manage Anywhere, Anytime – the ability to add or take away playable nations in your saved game as often as you want. Manage in that country at the start of the next season- meaning you don’t have to stay in the nations which are chosen by you to be playable at the start of your career.
* Tone – a whole new level has been added to team talks and conversations, with the new tone system, which allows you to specify the way you want to say things – be as cool as a cucumber by saying things calmly or throw tea cups around by saying things with passion. There are 6 different tones to choose from with specific comments per tone.
* Intelligent Interface – a new adaptive layout system, which means the higher your screen resolution, the more info is easily at your fingertips. The new interface also contains new filters, customisable columns, a new tactics screen, and lots of new overview screens.
* Brand New Tutorial – standing separate from the main game, a mode to help new players find their way around the game easily, whilst also offering tips to experienced managers on how to get the most out of the game, as well as a new in-game “how to” system.

Jimmie Johnson is the new face of NASCAR. He plays a lot of videogames in between his races – you know, the ones hes constantly winning – and a year ago approached a college buddy of his about creating a racing game of his own. Fast forward to today. Here comes Jimmy Johnsons Anything With an Engine, a quirky racing title for PSN/XBLA/Wii thats a far cry from what youd expect from a career stock car driver.

Anything With an Engine is a kart racing game akin to Mario Kart, one of Jimmies go-to games when hes on the road. Its not a NASCAR title, focusing instead on crazy, slapped-together vehicles that have no business on any road. Vehicles in the demo included bomb with wheels, a riding lawnmower, and an Indy sort of car, showing that the general vehicles live up to the Anything With an Engine name. Its inspired by real life too, as Jimmie spends his own time sometimes strapping engines to things like barstools and turning them into rides.

The one mode I saw during the brief demo was a pretty standard race. Eight cars lined up at the start, running through five laps in order to see who came in first. Winning, though, is only a small part of the fun, as the chaotic racing and battling for position is where Anything With an Engine hopes to draw players in. Starting with no weapons whatsoever, players run over triggers on the ground that grant them upgrades, including a bash ability that knocks opponents to their sides. Along the way theyll also gain access to other armaments like missiles and mines, giving them tools to wreak havoc on any player who wanders into range.
As if driving and battling wasnt enough, players can also hit red triggers throughout the courses that release traps. Traps might electrocute players ahead of you, or maybe trigger parts of the environment to surge across the track and wreck unsuspecting players. Players also have to dodge hazards that can wreck themselves, such as red arrows that sling you in the wrong direction – including off the track.

Kart racers are fun by yourself, but this downloadable title aims to sweeten the pot by supporting up to four players in local split-screen coop. If you and your buddies want to hop online and battle against the rest of the world, thats OK too; Anything With an Engine supports any combination of local and online players.

It doesnt have a release date other than “sometime in 2011,” and theres still a host of details yet to be revealed (like other modes and racers), but Anything With An Engine could be a downloadable solution for racing fans looking for something outside of simulations like Gran Turismo and Forza. Sure, it might not have that many original ideas outside of the absurd nature of the vehicles, but the saying goes “if it aint broke, dont fix it” for a reason. Or, in the case of racer Jimmie Johnson, “if it aint broke, how about we mangle it, strap an engine to it, and have some fun.”

Xcode 4.3 iOS SDK 5.1 Developer Preview 2

Apple has released iOS 4.3, the latest version of its operating system for mobile devices. This is available for iPhone (4 and 3GS), iPod Touch (3rd and 4th generation) as well as iPad and iPad 2 devices. The update is available through iTunes 10.2 for both Windows and Mac systems. Note that whilst the iPhone 3G was supported for the iOS 4.2 update, it is no longer supported in the iOS 4.3 update. Since iOS 4.3 contains security updates, this may leave iPhone 3G users vulnerable.

iOS 4.3 introduces the -personal hotspot- feature, first seen in the iPhone 4 on Verizon. This allows the iPhone to create a virtual hotspot for use by up to five devices; three over WiFi, three over bluetooth and one over USB. Data access over the virtual hotspot may be routed through a different APN (the data routing access point for the network) and charged under different rates to the main iPhone data plan.

Another addition is that of iTunes home sharing, which brings iTunes into the world of media centres. Although it's always been possible to stream media from an iTunes server to an iTunes desktop computer, this integrates other iOS devices to consume (as well as broadcast) media to other AirPlay devices.

For iPad users, iOS 4.3 brings sanity back to the hardware switch, as a software setting which allows changing between mute and orientation lock. For both iPad and iPhone/iPod devices, the new operating system brings improved performance, particularly in the WebKit implementation of the Safari browser

Although the iOS 4.3 announcement specifically excludes the iPhone 4 CDMA model, it is likely that the initial OS version is very similar to iOS 4.3, and will be revved if needed with a point update later.

Finally, Apple has released of Xcode 4 (release notes). This is a significant reworking of the underlying build too, similar to the evolution of Xcode replacing Project Builder in the early stages of OSX development. It includes Git as standard, and uses the LLVM toolchain (version 2.0), as well as the new LLDB debugger. Although Xcode 3 remains available for free, Xcode 4 is only available to those with a paid developer account; however, Xcode is also available as a $5 download via the Mac App Store for non-developers. This is the first time that an Apple development kit has not been available for free since OSX was released; whilst it won't impact any current developers it may dissuade those from initially trying out development on the OSX platform.

Additionally, Xcode 4 now integrates functionality from Interface Builder, which is used to create UIs for OSX and iOS systems. Rather than having two separate applications, Xcode 4 now allows the UI to be edited in-place, in a similar way to editing source files. IBPlugins are deprecated, so that they are no longer available in Xcode 4, though systems will continue to build if they have generated UIs in the past with IBPlugins.

Note that not only does Xcode 4 require an Intel Mac (10.6.6 or above), it also removes the availability for developing PPC applications or kernel extensions.

"How it is with immense pleasure and satisfaction that another year has come to offer my community, with the experience of last year tried to do an honest work and more structured, but may be susceptible to failure, then I apologize now if any. tried to make a mod a little lighter than last year, bringing some of the features described below:

-Cars F1 RL modified By Daniel
Lopes (I mean that the cars were modified and refined the cars trying
to faithfully follow real failures that occurred in the rfactor mod
F1RL)
- Textures used in F1 RL repeated but totally for me
- Cars are using lights texuras jpeg.bmp
- Resolution of 1024 Ч 1024 textures in
- Designer loodings screens for submission, all videos reworked by me.
- Selected circuits in accordance with the fidelity of the real
- Some parts of the mod as some fly (BMW, Brawn, Willliams, ferrari) made by the partner Wesley.

- Kers system that put the mod is close to most of the real, contrary
to the principles that are doing around the kers not increase the speed
of the car, but the horses making the car reaches the final speed
faster while gaining time and then because the car is 325 km but is not
it reaches that speed, but faster winning time well.
- All and
any updates will be made and posted this topic, recalling queas
textures of the boxes are updated until the gp of china, then I will

Terminator Salvation is a third-person shooter video game based on the film of the same name released on May 19, 2009 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC and iPhone.

The PC version of the game shipped with a major bug that does not allow installation and has been recalled from retail shelves. Upon installation, the game displays the message: "error (-5006 : 0x80070002) has occurred while running the setup" and to contact Evolved Games. This error only affects the physical retail version. Versions on digital distribution sites such as Steam are apparently unaffected.

Vertical Accordion Navigation
To add content pages you can edit the navigation XML file where you can specify each content SWF to be loaded. The main navigation also supports Sub Menus, see “Sub Menu Example” in the menu. There are also settings in the XML to change the image path to Company Logo, edit footer text and show/hide the navigation menu on start up.

Load your own SWF
The home page is an example of a loaded SWF with a Flash animation. Please note that the home animation is not XML driven – it’s merely for display purposes.

Dynamic Backgrounds
You can easily add your own backgrounds by saving them to a specific folder and adding each JPEG path in an XML file. Single or multiple backgrounds can be loaded. You can also define the delay in seconds between each background in the backgrounds XML file.

Slide Show Component
With the Slideshow Component you can add multiple images by saving them to a specific folder and adding the image paths and copy in the slideshow XML file. You can also set the delay in seconds between each slide and set the URL link for each image.

Team Members Component
With the Team Members Component you can add your company staff members bio’s by saving their photo to a specific folder and adding their details in the Team Members XML file. The copy supports HTML formatting so you can change font size, colour and decoration and add hyper links. Multiple categories are also supported.

Dynamic Content Window
With this component you can create multiple content windows which all use a generic SWF . By editing each content window XML file you can specify the window dimensions and border size. The copy supports HTML formatting so you can change font size, colour and decoration and add hyper links and images.

News Component
With the News Component you can add news articles by editing the News XML file and saving the images to specific folders. The copy supports HTML formatting so you can change font size, colour and decoration and add hyper links.

Video Gallery Component
You can add videos in either FLV or MP4 format. The video paths and titles defined in the Video Gallery XML . For the thumbnails you can specify the number of rows, columns and the number of thumbnails to appear on screen. Multiple galleries are also supported and the video player supports full screen video mode.

Image Gallery Component
With the Image gallery Component you can add images by editing the Image Gallery XML file and saving the images to specific folders. The copy supports HTML formatting so you can change font size, colour and decoration and add hyper links. Multiple galleries are also supported.

PHP Contact Form Component
Users can send emails directly from this template to your mailbox. All you need to do is define your email address in the PHP file. The contact details can be changed by editing the Contact XML file. The copy supports HTML formatting so you can change font size, colour and decoration and add hyper links.

MP3 Playlist
With this component you can add as many tracks as you wish by saving the MP3 ’s to a specific folder and defining the track titles in the playlist XML file. This player also supports audio streaming and automatically plays through the playlist.

Tween Class
Throughout this template the Tween Class has been used so you can easily change the easing type by replacing Bounce, for example, to Regular, Strong or Elastic in the ActionScript. Instructions to change the easing type is well-documented in the instructions manual. See Tween Class in Flash Help for full list of Tween Class easing properties.
